Eastside Veterinary Associates is a place where those of us who derive our daily joy from our companion animals meet. Whether we are here to work on patients presented to us, or here as a client to learn how to care for your pets, we gather in this centralized location on the Eastside for the betterment of the animals we are entrusted with. We know that without our friends and neighbors who also share the same love, we simply would not be what we are today.
For these reasons, we enjoy being a good neighbor and take every opportunity to do our part to sustain and strengthen our communities. We are a regular sponsor of the Go Dog Go! Kirkland Canine Festival. We have also been voted Best Vet in Seattle magazine and 425 Magazine’s reader surveys.
We also work very closely with and offer discounts for MEOW Cat Rescue, a no-kill shelter that we strongly recommend for anyone interested in adopting a feline to enhance their lives. We offer free initial wellness exams for pets adopted from shelters such as the Seattle Humane Society, Purrfect Pals, and PAWS. Our doctors also give presentations at local schools on a range of topics that include pet safety, pet health issues, and becoming a veterinarian. We have hosted scheduled visits from the Brownie troop from Cherry Crest Elementary, pre-school children from Rose Hill Presbyterian Church, and puppy classes with the Tail Wagger’s Club. In addition, our services have been items for auction for local schools such as Bellevue Christian School and Newport Heights elementary.
In all, Eastside Veterinary Associates is very proud of our contributions – both in volunteer hours and financial support to Kirkland and surrounding communities. We are but one strand of a very large and intricate web of people and organizations helping to make our neighborhoods a better place.
